Springfield Armory Legacy Raptor SEMA Build

Check out the awesome build we participated in with Addictive Desert Designs and Springfield Armory. The 2017 Ford Raptor was build at the shop at Addictive Desert Designs in Mesa Arizona in conjunction with our team at GunMount.com to debuit at the 2016 SEMA show. Displayed in the Addictive Desert Designs booth the Springfield Legacy Raptor was a huge hit and
Springfield Legacy Ford Raptor part of their launch of the "Saint" AR platform rifle. The Springfield Armory guys kicked off their new line of rifles for sale nationally in conjunction with the unveiling of the new Springfield Legacy Raptor at the SEMA show. This combination of the Truck community with the Gun community was well received to say the least.

The build was done with the team at Addictive Desert Designs in Mesa Arizona. Ford Raptor with GunMount.com Working with Greg Foutz and his relationship with Ford Motor Company the team was able to "borrow" a 2017 Ford Raptor Super Cab truck months before they came available to dealers for sale. The customized truck featured the signature HoneyBadger bumper line but with a custom twist. The team made custom versions that actually incorporated AR-500 steel armor plates all along the bumper surface to build one of the first truly armored bumpers for a commercial street truck. The look fit the custom build perfectly and matched color scheme with the Kryptek Raid Camo pattern used on the wrap of the truck.
Foutz Motorsports Raptor Rigid Industries equipped the Addictive Desert Designs chase rack with their latest Adapt Light Bars and some true Infra Red Duallies on the front bumper for the Night Vision scopes. In finishing out the look we added some BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires to give it the aggressive look and feel you would expect in this tactical themed truck. The tires were mounted on some custom color matched Fuel wheels to put the

visual appearance needed to see the bad ass Alcon Raptor brake package that was also just released for the 2010 up and new 2017 Ford Raptor. With all of this added the truck needed some suspension upgrades also so we went back to our friends at Fox Racing Shocks and got some of the Foutz Motorsports Raptor Race truck shocks for this bad boy. The 3" internal bypass coil over fronts matched up with the 3" external by-pass shocks in the rear make this truck handle the bumps and added weight of the accessories like a champ. The Addictive Desert Designs bolt on bump stop kit was hidden under the bed but is easily noticed when driving the truck at speed in the rough terrain.

The incorporation of the GunMount.com accessories really accented the truck overall Springfield Armory Saint AR-15 build. AR-15 holders were installed in 3 locations in the truck showcasing the universal design of the new rifle mount. Under rear seat storage box showcased a high end M1 sniper rifle and demonstrated how clean and easy it is to use the secure box. Pistols were displayed in several locations including an XDS 9mm under the steering column and in the center console another XD-M and top of the line 1911 pistols. The unique mounts showcased the Springfield Armory product in a new way that makes it easy for anyone to carry and transport their guns in a safe and clean way.
